Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on Motozmo are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission from the retailer. It never costs you anything extra, and it never buys a product a better ranking here.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Motozmo is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

How Affiliate Links Work

The Link Carries a Tag

Links to Amazon include our Associates tracking tag, and Amazon uses cookies to connect a purchase with the link that was clicked. That tag is how Amazon knows the sale started here.

A Commission on Qualifying Purchases

When a purchase qualifies, Amazon pays Motozmo a percentage of the sale as a referral fee. The commission comes out of Amazon’s side of the transaction; the price you pay does not change because a link was clicked.

Not Only Amazon

Guides may also link to other retailers under similar arrangements. The same rule applies wherever a link can earn: the guide says so at the top, before any recommendation.

Where the Disclosure Appears

Every post on Motozmo opens with a short disclosure line at the top of the page, before the first recommendation or product link. It is there for a simple reason: you should know a guide can earn money before you weigh what it recommends, not after.

This page explains the arrangement in full. The line at the top of each guide is the same disclosure, kept short and placed where the recommendations are.

Prices and Availability Change

A price shown in a guide was the price when that guide was last checked. Every guide shows its last-verified date, and we re-check picks as guides are updated. Amazon’s prices and stock change often, sometimes within a day. The price and availability shown on Amazon when you check out are the ones that apply to your purchase, even if a guide still shows an older figure.

Advertising on This Site

Some pages also carry display advertising served by Google AdSense. Those ads are chosen by Google’s advertising system, not by us, and they are separate from the guides: an advertiser gets ad space and nothing else, no say in what gets tested, recommended, or ranked, and no sight of a guide before it publishes.

Rankings Are Not for Sale

Commissions never change a ranking, a verdict, or a test result on Motozmo. If a piece of content here is ever paid for or sponsored by a brand, it will be labelled as sponsored at the top of the piece, before anything else. This is a standing rule, not a case-by-case decision.

The opinions in our guides are the author’s own. Amazon does not sponsor or endorse Motozmo or its reviews. The full method, from how products are shortlisted to tested and dropped, is set out on the How We Test and Choose Products page.

Questions About This Disclosure

If anything on this page is unclear, or you think a guide is missing its disclosure, write to contact@motozmo.com and say so. A missing disclosure is treated as an error and fixed like one.
